The Old Milking Parlour is one of the courtyard outbuildings of Ballymurrin House. It enjoys a southern orientation onto its own private walled garden. Here you are guaranteed peace and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The Old Milking Parlour is a unique blend of traditional stone outbuilding with contemporary style and luxury. Entering through the arched opening, the large, double height living room has two sumptuous sofas, Sky tv, DVD and CD player. Its focal point is a free-standing, glass-fronted wood burning stove. The living room links by two steps to the kitchen/dining area. Free-standing beech units with stainless steel worktops provide a chef's dream with an integrated oven/hob/grill, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Sunlight pours down into the living areas from roof windows, with remote control blinds and awnings. Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper etc are provided for your use, together with eco-friendly cleaning products.

There are two en-suite bedrooms, each with a double bed and single sofabed. The stylish bathrooms enjoy walk-in showers. Soft towels are provided. There is a hairdryer and safe Washing machine and tumble drier are housed adjacent. Heating is underfloor and there is a constant supply of hot water. Parking is ample.

The enclosed garden at the rear is for exclusive use of visitors. Enjoy the scent of climbing roses, lavender and herbs for succulent barbeques. Children’s play equipment - swings, sunken full-size trampoline, swings, climbing frame and table tennis - is in the front courtyard garden. Parental supervision is required.

A cot is available on request at no extra charge. We supply a high chair/booster seat, tupperware, a selection of childrens' books and toys for your use whilst here. We believe a happy child is a happy parent and we want you to truly relax.
